Visiting The School for Classical & Contemporary Dance at TCU
We encourage prospective students to visit TCU. SCCD students spend a great deal of time in our beautiful facilities in Erma Lowe Hall, but they are also members of the larger TCU community. The TCU Office of Admission offers several options for visiting the campus and learning about the University. Please Click Here to learn more about these options. These visits will give you a terrific overview of TCU in general, but we encourage you to also plan a specific visit to the SCCD.
Please contact our office by emailing us email@example.com to let us know you are coming prior to confirming your TCU visit. We will work with TCU Admissions to ensure your experience includes a tour of the SCCD. If given sufficient notice we would like you to view classes and meet our students and faculty. By contacting us well in advance – at least 3-4 weeks prior to your expected visit – we can make arrangements for you to take classes with our majors. We extend this privilege to current high school juniors and seniors and, in special circumstances, high school sophomores in their spring semester.
We recognize that not everyone can arrange a visit to TCU prior to the audition dates. If you are unable to visit TCU prior to your audition, we coordinate campus tours and overviews for prospective dance students as part of the audition weekend schedule. This may require an additional day on campus so please contact Deborah Freed, Audition Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to making your travel arrangements, so all the necessary details can be coordinated.
We look forward to your visit!
