Fernando Bujones (1955-2005)
Internationally acclaimed ballet star, Fernando Bujones, served as the Choreographer-in-Residence for the TCU Department of Ballet and Modern Dance from 1995 until his untimely death in 2005.  During his tenure at TCU, Mr. Bujones came twice a year to create a new ballet or restage a classic as well as teach classes for dance majors. Mr. Bujones shared his wealth of experience and knowledge generously, and he was a much-loved and respected member of the TCU family. Fort Worth became a second home for Mr. Bujones and his wife, Maria.  His sense of humor, grace, and vibrant spirit are deeply missed.
